Mr. Louis Beauséjour was appointed to the position of Assistant Commissioner, Québec Region, on September 19, 2016. He has over 25 years of leadership experience within the federal government.

Prior to his appointment at the Canada Revenue Agency, Mr. Beauséjour held the position of Assistant Deputy Minister of the Integrity Services Branch at Service Canada. He played a key role leading and directing compliance of major statutory programs and managing departmental security policies and program.

Before that he was Associate Assistant Deputy Minister at Human Resources and Skills Development Canada, where he lent his leadership talents to developing programs and initiatives that promote skills development, labour market participation and inclusiveness. He also held several senior and executive positions in central agencies, including the Department of Finance and the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat.

Mr. Beauséjour holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agroeconomics and a Master’s degree in Economics from Université Laval.
