Before becoming president of the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF) in 2009, Maurice Mongrain was a partner at the law firm of Desjardins Ducharme, s.e.n.c.r.l. From 1977 to 1980, Mr. Mongrain worked in tax litigation at the Montréal office of Revenu Québec.
In 1975, Mr. Mongrain earned a Bachelor of Laws degree from Université Laval in Québec City. He was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 1976 and earned a degree in accounting sciences from the HEC in 1981.
